VIDEO: Presenting Vintage Vocals

We are absolutely delighted to present our first ever video of Vintage Vocals, our over 60s singing group.

Vintage Vocals started in 2018 and has grown and grown, with Val volunteering as a leader for the group in January.

Recently they had an open performance for local people, and this footage is from that fantastic day.

“Well, Vintage Vocals was set up about 18 months ago by Vintage Vibes. And Basically it was to combat isolation in older people.

“I just came into the project in January, and I take the group as a volunteer

“It’s all about people singing together, having fun, and actually singing songs that they know and love as well as learning new things. It’s important that as we get older that we do things to stimulate those bran cells!”
