At Vintage Vibes, we love to get together for a cuppa and a blether. But sometimes we all look for a different way to meet new friends.
Whether it’s singing, watching a film or simply having a giggle, we’re starting new friendship groups across the city. Why? To help folks meet new friends and tackle loneliness in over 60s.
We’d love you to join us. Or if you have an idea for a group then just get in touch!
Meet new friends and rediscover beautiful music through the decades in a fun, relaxed setting. Previously known as ‘Vintage Vocals’.
Vocal Vibes meet every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, from 11am to 1pm. No experience is needed to join, but we ask that you bring a £3 donation (first session free!). This includes refreshments.
Our brilliant singing group will be practicing in the Greyfriars Charteris Centre, with a lovely view of the Salisbury Crags on the way in. We’ll set up in the St Ninian’s Hall which is fully wheelchair accessible from the main entrance of the centre.
There’s great bus access to the Greyfriars Charteris Centre. The 14 bus stops right outside, and the two nearby bus stops at Surgeon’s Hall have the following services:
2, 3, 5, 8, 29, 30, 33, 49, or 7, 31, 37, 47.
Vocal Vibes are welcoming new singers to the group, and there is no audition to get involved. You can see their recent song here!
