We're working together with local businesses to tackle loneliness in Edinburgh!

Join the growing number of fabulous local businesses who are working with us to tackle local loneliness in Edinburgh’s over 60s.

Edinburgh is one of the loneliest cities in the UK, with over 11,000 older people often or always alone. Together we can make a difference.

From staff volunteering, supporting our fundraising campaigns through staff and customer participation, donations, Charity of the Year support and/or company match donation for staff fundraising, your company’s support can make a huge difference to the lives of older people feeling alone.

We’re also championing local coffee shops, cafes, and venues that offer a friendly and welcoming space for older people to come and meet up with friends and their volunteers. We can offer your business a shout out to our VIPs (over 60s we support), our volunteers, and across our social media to showcase your support and any offers you may have available for older people.

Together we can change the lives of lonely and isolated older people for the better. One friendship at a time.

The Edinburgh Playhouse

A huge thank you to The Edinburgh Playhouse for choosing Vintage Vibes as one of their Charities of the Year for 2023/24. This fabulous collaboration engaged Edinburgh Playhouse staff in show collections, writing Christmas Cards for local over 60s feeling alone as part of our Christmas Card campaign, as well as fabulous volunteering opportunities. We also worked together to enable our over 60s singing group, Vocal Vibes to perform their version of 9 to 5 on stage at Edinburgh Street Food prior to the Dolly Parton hit musical, Here You Come Again.
