Why not get involved in the Edinburgh Events Challenge?

• Tell us your fantastic event idea
• If your idea is selected, you will be given a budget and the support to make your event a fantastic reality.
• The team/person that raises the most to tackle loneliness in over 60s in Edinburgh wins the ‘Events Champion 2017 Award’ and £150 prize money. Amazing!

Edinburgh is the loneliest city in the UK for older people, with 11,000 being always or often alone.

All funds raised will go towards Vintage Vibes – a local project tackling loneliness in over 60s across the city (but don’t worry, events don’t have to be vintage themed or catering to over 60s).

STUDENTS:

The Edinburgh Events Challenge is open to everyone! But, if you’re a student there’s a chance you can access an extra £350 budget through our collaboration with the Edinburgh Students Charities Appeal – making your total budget £500! Yay!
