The Great British Bake Off is returning to screens and, as always, it unites the younger and older generations in their mutual love of baked goods (and the slight hope that someone’s cake goes hilariously wrong). 

Here at Vintage Vibes, we know all too well how baking cakes, biscuits and other assorted treats can bring people together and so have created a wonderful Afternoon Tea kit to borrow for free! 

Whether you want to have a bake-off at work, a tea party to celebrate an occasion or simply to pimp up your bake sale – our afternoon tea kits are available to you!

WHAT DO THEY INCLUDE?

• Vintage china tea cups, saucers and plates for 5-50 people
• Vintage and brightly coloured tea pots
• Yellow and blue table cloths
• Tea party accessories such as sugar bowls and milk jugs
• Decorations including handmade vintage bunting and balloons

Whether you want to organise a dress up event for you and your flatmates to be a bit daft one afternoon or to be a bit more grandiose, we have hats, feather boas, costume jewellery and more to borrow! (Perfect for selfies!)

HOW DO YOU USE THE KITS?

We’ve created these kits so that baking (and eating!) can bring people together – friends, families, co-workers, clubs!

All we ask is that you use your cake fest to do some good by raising awareness and some pennies to tackle loneliness in our lovely city.

Edinburgh is the loneliest city in the whole of the UK for older people (shocking!) and we create much needed friendships between local people.
