Donny & Dana’s friendship blossoms with some jolly jaunts!

Donny and Dana were matched just as the UK went into lockdown. Unable to meet in person, they built up a friendship over the phone. They regularly enjoyed biscuits and chats as part of our Biscuit and A Blether project.

As soon as it was safe to do so, the pair started meeting up for physically-distanced walks around the local area.

But now that the weather is getting colder, they’ve been finding safe ways to have a little adventure indoors. From finding local cafes for a cup of coffee, to visiting the National Museum of Scotland and, most recently, Edinburgh’s infamous Camera Obscura and World of Illusions!

It’s truly fantastic to see Donny and Dana’s friendship building and thriving during such a challenging year.

“I am just so pleased to have Donny in my life as a friend and hopefully able to bring some happiness to his life”, Dana said.
