We are delighted to be collaborating with Edinburgh Evening News to give away 50 of our exclusive chocolate Edinburgh Acts of Kindness Advent Calendars! Each day has an act of kindness behind the door as well as a Cadbury chocolate.

Did you know that Edinburgh is the loneliest city in the UK for older people?

Since starting in 2015 we have had hundreds of volunteers create thousands of hours of friendship for isolated over 60s across Edinburgh.

This year, we want to encourage even more acts of kindness across our fair city!

So we’ve launched what we think is the world’s first ever chocolate acts of kindness advent calendar! Yay!

Designed by our volunteer Luisa and professionally made with Cadbury’s chocolate – behind each door is a sweet treat and a suggested act of kindness for you to do that day!

The acts of kindness are sourced from our VIPs (lonely over 60s), volunteers and supporters, and include everything from saying hello to a neighbour to donating to local charity shops!
