Last week we were lucky enough to have a visit from Christina McKelvie MSP, Minister for Older People and Equalities for the Scottish Government.

Vintage Vibes was selected by Befriending Networks out of all the amazing projects in Scotland to represent friendship based ways of tackling loneliness, and we were delighted to host the Minister and introduce her to our wonderful VIPs and volunteers.

As it’s Older People’s Day (#olderpeoplesday), we wanted to share our interview with Christina, talking about older people in Scotland, tackling loneliness and her hopes for Scotland’s older population…
