Jude Balfour

Jude was born and grew up in Newcastle. She moved North to Glasgow where she qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist. On graduating she moved to Edinburgh and has now lived here for over 20 years.

After working for a number of years in the NHS as a Speech and Language Therapist Jude joined the third sector to work for LCIL. Following a career break to raise her family she worked in a couple of roles for the Local Authority and then later as a Link Worker for Alzheimer Scotland.

Jude enjoys meeting new people, helping others to create connections and seeing how she can best support people in their individual circumstances to live their lives to the full! Jude has done various volunteering roles over the years including the highlight of volunteering as a Special Constable for Police Scotland.
