Welcome to the Team!

Thanks to generous funding from The National Lottery Community Fund and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, we are delighted to introduce you to our three newest team members! Hurrah!

EMMA

We are so excited to introduce one of our new Friendships Coordinators, Emma! Emma was involved in volunteering in the project that evolved into Vintage Vibes in 2015 – what a coincidence! Since she has done fantastic work creating friendships between volunteers and older people living with dementia in the Pentlands area and will be bringing these skills and expertise to the team. She loves meeting new people and hearing their life stories and is a bit of a thrill seeker (she’s looking forward to her first bungee jump this year!). 

ALISON

Welcome Alison! Alison has spent her career helping local people access museum, heritage and community spaces and nurturing volunteers. We can’t wait to have her involved in the project as one of our new Friendships Coordinators. Alison loves getting out into the fresh air, meeting new people and drinking lots of tea! 

RONA

Hello Rona! Rona is our third lovely new Friendships Coordinator to join the team! She has worked with hundreds of adults with learning disabilities across the city to provide workshops and support in day centres and brings her unique insight to our growing team. She loves wild swimming and used to work at Gorgie Farm years ago! 

We can’t wait to grow our project and reach even more VIPs and volunteers across Edinburgh!
